The Waseca Sleigh and Cutter Festival is a fun escape from winter after the holidays are over. If you like horses, curling, ice sculptures, and parades, this event is for you. We have activities for all ages. Just a few of our events include a Frosty the Snowman contest, medallion hunt, bridge, a dance, and a coloring contest. 71st Annual Waseca Sleigh & Cutter Festival

January 23 to Feb. 27, 2021

The nation’s longest running sleigh & cutter festival! Due to COVID-19, please note there are numerous changes to our festival to provide safe and fun experiences for participants and families.

Please wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines, as recommended, for all Sleigh and Cutter events.



$1,750 FROSTY CONTEST - 24th Annual

Awards presented Feb. 13, 1 p.m., at the Waseca County Fairgounds, following the parade.

SLEIGH & CUTTER PARADE - was on 2/13 moved to 2/27

Start Time: 12 noon. Parade starts from WASECA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS and runs through downtown Waseca. The parade will feature multiple breeds of horses pulling many types of units. Other parade attractions include:

Event to support service & veteran’s families who have lost a member to suicide. Walk starts at American Legion Club, travels north around Clear Lake, continues south and returns to the American Legion Club. Short program & free pancakes before walk starts. Contact Jeremiah at 507-835-5267.
